Having never sold a home, I was overwhelmed about how to go about it. I used a vendor's advocate to help choose our agent and I'm so pleased we chose Ian. He was very professional. Always cool when I was anxious, he explained the process at each stage. He never jumped ahead with unnecessary details, which would have confused me, but took me through each step as it came up. He answered all my queries, very patient when I didn't understand particulars, especially regarding my lack of IT skills. Ian has a delightful sense of humor and we had quite a few laughs despite what should have been quite a stressful time. I know that Ian did a lot of follow up phone calls to encourage potential buyers...many of them in out-of-work hours. He never made any mention of these unless they were relevant to moving towards a sale. Ian has a vast knowledge of the market in my area. He never over or under valued my home but, as things moved forward, he suggested tweaking the price range/date of auction to suit how potential buyers were responding. From the get go, Rob was onto every aspect of selling our house, calling on his two decades of experience selling in the Nunawading area. He knew where our house sat in the market compared to others selling or already sold and got us a good price just before auction. We were impressed with how quickly he organised photos, copywriting and signboard, as well as online advertising, with a well thought out strategy for the campaign.
