He is firstly pleasant. The sort of guy you would be very happy to have a coffee with. Or, ultimately, to call a friend. He knows his real-estate. He knows the industry. He understands individual properties – including their main features and what if any downsides they might have. Above all, Ian Van Eijk at Fletchers Real Estate in Blackburn is competent. He conducted a respectable campaign for my property over a number of weeks, actually conducted the auction himself – and in a very nervous real-estate market beset with ongoing interest rate increases, achieved an acceptable result. Not quite what I thought the property should be worth – but clearly the best outcome that we could have hoped for on the day and given all of the circumstances. And the market volatility. Call Ian if, like myself, it is time to move on with a particular property. I have no hesitation in recommending Ian Van Eijk of Fletchers. I actually now consider Ian a friend.
