We first came across Rob approximately 10 years before working with him. When researching the market we saw him call an auction and he made an incredible impression on us. His style really resonated, he was clearly a people person and his calm persona matched with his use of humour made us feel very comfortable about the buying process. We definitely kept his name in mind for future use... After buying our 2 bedroom unit in Nunawading in 2011, we thought about selling a couple of times. Rob always gave honest, genuine feedback, which even included advising us to hold onto the property rather than selling! During the 2020 covid lockdown we purchased our dream family home subject to the sale of either our unit or our townhouse. It was a stressful time trying to make everything work, and the situation with our unit was complicated by the tenant we had being somewhat difficult in preventing us pursuing the sale. We spoke to Rob and he worked to try and help us sell the property off market to an investor, which included a number of phone calls with our tenant to try and get buyers through. Despite his incredible efforts, we weren't able to get the tenant to budge and the change in laws meant we had no levers to pull. Rob did all of this work without getting us to sign anything or asking for a fee. Fast forward two years and we decided to sell the unit to fund an extension/renovation where we live. It was a no brainer to engage Rob. We found the entire experience with Rob and his team at Fletchers to be easy and stress free. We had complete confidence and trust in the advice that Rob offered us. Come auction day we achieved a fantastic result, selling our property for $750,000 ($40k above the top of the range, and $50k above reserve). Rob was equally as excited as we were that the property went to a young first home buyer, which really capped off a brilliant experience. If you are selling a property in the Whitehorse area, Rob is the only choice!
