Long story short, not only did he achieved my target, he made me an extra $20,000. Please keep in mind Reilly is not the type of agent who seeks an easy sell so he can get the commission and walk away, he actually put the owner’s interest first because let’s be honest, the commission he can get over the extra $20,000 is probably not worth the effort, but he went the extra mile because he knows $20,000 extra would mean a huge difference to us. Kaining had just sold a house a short distance away and not being one to rest on her laurels she came knocking on our door. As it happened we were speaking with 3 or 4 other agents already but her presentation along with Reilly Wakefield sealed the deal. Acting on their advice we steamed ahead with an auction penned for the 29th but then Covid struck and a lockdown announced for midnight on the 27th. With a possible auction by video - not desirable - the 2 of them launched negotiations between the interested parties and at 6.00 on the 27th the the deal was cut. With a very volatile market the pricing expectations were spot on and so i think was a win win for all parties.
