In the end a domestic retail sale is a rare experience in the life of an individual or couple. To rate it is a process which is very subjective. I believe it is more appropriate to review the overall process from start to finish in stages with the result as undoubtedly strengthened and/or weakened by performance factors in each stage. In preliminary relations with Rick (and the Forsyth team importantly including Nadia) the prospect of doing a good job for us was excellent. Steps included knowing something of their prior sales by sampling to having a review of my prospective sale were easy, amiable and credible. An important phase was the discussion of current presentation versus possible transformation to 'ready for sale condition. Here Rick was excellent in bringing the picture of the product together with assistance from freshening up to sale condition status provided by excellent sub contractors most notably controlled by Gaby Sarkis and his teams but also supplied by the interior layout firm with broadly good value evident. Open house and auction day experiences were testing but Rick kept it all in hand without too much vendor input or stress. Inspection numbers were high enough to suggest the house had been well sampled by the market. Whether the actual outcome was acceptable is never absolutely measurable. We had adequate exposure and finished up with a sale on the day at a price which did not disappoint. I think that is a fair assessment in a far from boom current real estate market.
