Going into start our search for a rental property with the current market was very stressful, we applied for a home through Harcourts and any time I called it was never an issue to update on progress or answer questions, upon viewing the home Ashleigh was so welcoming and full of information when asking about minor issues she was always a step ahead and when approved had already actioned everything we asked, Jelie ensures our queries are passed on and is always so lovely on the phone, we feel very luck to be under there team in our home

There are some positive and negative points. It was good overall experience for almost about three years. Some of the staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and professional hence there was no issues with that. But we believe Harcourts Focus have to change their tenants inclined approach. There were instances when they asked us for maintenance to be done while those should have been tenants job to fix it. I was asked to get pest control done twice as the tenants wanted it done but luckily I had the idea that it is not landlords responsibility to carry out pest control. I literally had to go through the tenancy contract and tell the property manager that it is not on landlord. I think before they ask landlord to get something done, they need to check how and why it happened. Lack of communication was also observed at different occasions specially when some other staff visited the property for quarterly inspection and somehow did not pass proper details to the property manager. Property manager should do the quarterly inspections and keep up to date with everything in the property. They kept on changing property managers in earlier tenure of the tenancy. In conclusion, I believe there is room for improvements and positive criticism should help improve the standards. I have used the sales/marketing team from Harcourt Focus and they were amazing and I hope the property management team matches the same standards. Thanks.
