Saw an open house in my neighbourhood and spoke to Mark Lake, the agent from Harcourts Kingsberry Townsville about sale of my property versus renting it. He arranged a meeting with me at my convenience, was on time and took the time to spend with me at my residence. In a couple of days he had a sale appraisal completed and emailed to me, along with a rental appraisal. He followed up with a phone call, was excellent service. When I finally made the decision to rent, I spoke with Scott Walduck who went above and beyond, to make sure all my questions were answered, followed up with an email and a call, and didn't hassle me. I kept Scott informed about the availability of my property (had some renovations to do) and when it was ready to go, he attended the property, did all the paperwork, provided excellent advice to me along the way, and explained the whole process including costs so there were no surprises. He listed the property as he said and it was rented in 9 days, seriously amazing given several other vacant properties in my immediate vicinity. My Property Manager, Kelly Bartel is terrific. She was there to make sure the entry condition report was completed and signed by the tenants early, kept me informed on everything and we were away, easy! My property required maintenance and Kelly was able to save me hundreds of $$ by using Harcourt's preferred suppliers. The work was done quickly and efficiently. She kept me appraised during the recent floods in Townsville so I knew exactly what was going on with my property at all times. I get statements as agreed, no issues with funds transfers, communication is terrific, and I generally love the way Harcourts Kingsberry Townsville does business.
