This was our experience with Harcourt Kingsberry R.E. Townsville. Our situation: At old age, arriving from overseas, lodged in a motel anxiously seeking to buy the right home. Checking R.E.com, we found about four suitable looking homes in Douglas/ Annandale area. Thus, we rang Harcourts K. R.E. agent Mrs.Tammy Tyrrell, explaining our situation and Tammy immediately arranged an inspection of a property, which looked interesting to us. Result: We liked the home, agreed on the price and signed the purchase contract. Not knowing a street in Townsville, pleaded Tammy for help... and Tammy truly helped us! Tammy offered us countless lifts in her car to banks, the post office, shopping centers etc. even helped us to obtain a more economical accommodation and arranging our luggage transfers. In hindsight we can only mutter... “how could we have done all this without Tammy’s help?” Good Tammy was much more than merely “a real estate agent”, for she became our guardian angel, greatly helping to survive our very first days in Townsville. Thus, our personal experience with Harcourt K. R.E. or at least with Tammy from Harcourt K. I was very impressed with the way Malcolm managed the sales process and communicated so effectively with not only me, but family who were looking after things in Townsville for me. As I was in Perth. We had 2 contracts in 3 weeks and were settled by Easter; whereas, an identical unit to mine in the complex sold for $15,000 less after it was on the market for more than a year.
