Moving to Australia from Canada has been a big undertaking and I’m so grateful for the professional and caring service provided by Serena and team at Harcourts. After combing personal ads on Facebook marketplace, dodging scams, and ultimately coming up empty-handed, I began to worry that I may arrive in Melbourne without a place to live. The team at Harcourts was extremely accommodating, agreeing to book a virtual viewing through WhatsApp video call while considering our massive time difference. When I arrived in Melbourne, my apartment was not only how I expected it— but better. I feel that it is very fairly priced and consider myself lucky to have been able to settle into a furnished space after traveling for several days to get here. My agent Serena even gave me recommendations for banking, internet, and phone providers, and helped make arrangements for me to submit my initial rental payments and bond from my foreign bank account. Upon moving in I was prompted to complete an inspection of my apartment, and the contracted handyman was quick to be in touch and resolve any identified issues. The service I have received has been friendly, professional, and considerate. I have felt warmly welcomed by the team at Harcourts and would recommend them to anyone who’s looking for a little help in the rental process, especially if moving from abroad!
