We had a very pleasant experience dealing with Travis compared to the Shysters we were dealing with when looking to purchase in the Melbourne metropolitan area. The only downturn on the purchase was that the house was advertised as having air-conditioning. It turned out that only gas ducted heating was provided and that made it necessary to outlay nearly $4000 for air -con and fans. Also the gas hot water service was not working and it took 2months and $220 to get it operating. Also the Dishwasher died after only being used twice. This of course was no fault of the Agents. We may be unfair in giving only four stars for credibility. This was given due to the absence of the advertised air-con and it may well have been an innocent mistake. So do not take too much notice of the missing star. As far as the house is concerned, we are extremely pleased and consider we have got a bargain. We have half completed rebuilding the backyard and have erected a retaining wall to level the area near the rear fence and laid about 35 sq.m. of Couch lawn. The front garden is half completed and still requires more topsoil and more turf. So far the levelling of the backyard and the planted area at the front have required the spreading of 5 cubic metres of topsoil. We have extended an erected a roof over the rear Deck and installed a small garden Shed. Inside the house new lighting has been installed in the kitchen and Master Bedroom. Heater lights and Dining area lighting has been purchased and is waiting installation. New Drapes and Curtains have been installed throughout the house. Despite the missing Air-Con, we would have no hesitation in recommending Travis to any prospective Seller or Purchaser.
