I have spent more Saturdays than I care to recall on the property hunt, and I hoped I'd eventually buy through Harris Tripp as they stand out against other real estate agencies with their combination of professionalism, knowledge, friendliness and personal touches. As a first home buyer, you can go through a bit of a rollercoaster trying to get on the ladder, and in all my dealings with Michael and the team, I felt like they were invested in trying to find something just right for me, not just 'make a sale'. My dealings with Michael were professional and efficient. He knows his stuff, and I respect the fact he manages sales from the smallest studio to the grandest of family homes, with the same level of professionalism and expertise. I would highly recommend him and the team! I won't miss the endless Saturday viewings but they were certainly made a little more bearable because of the Harris Tripp team.

Our first contact was simply to test the market - what would it look like if I needed to sell my apartment? No commitment on my part. Regardless, Michael's approach was very professional from the very start. I received quick, honest and factual advice ... no "Sales Job". Months later I had a reason to sell, yet all the way through he kept in contact - never pressuring. The moment I said I was ready, so was Michael. From that very moment, it's as if Michael and his team were on steroids (I'm sure he wasn't). I was provided advice, options, and a recommendation that I was happy to follow, from the perspective of sale approach, listing, interior presentation, and choice of third parties to aid in all this. I was always made aware of costs - nothing hidden. In the end, we showed the property on Saturday and sealed the deal (Exchange) on Monday. My contract was accepted in full and the price was more than either of us expected; all this without going to auction. I trusted in Michael and the team from Harris Real Estate all the way and they delivered. My only sadness is that our partnership (they were also the property managers) has come to an end ...
