Very unorganised and frustrating
We recently purchased a house which Shona was selling. She was great all the way up until settlement, and that’s when things went pear shaped. On settlement day, settlement was approved at 11am. I am aware usually settlement goes through in the afternoon. I had taken the day off to move some stuff as we had to be out of our rental 3 days later. We had also arranged for a painter to do a half day of painting so we could move our furniture in by the weekend. At about 10am Shona called to advise we most likely wouldn’t be able to get the keys by settlement as the vendors delivery truck had only just arrived and they were still cleaning the place. Shona was at the house helping them clean. We got the keys at 4pm but still couldn’t go to our house until 5:30pm as the vendors still weren’t out. On arrival to the house there were still numerous belongings of the vendors inside, it wasn’t cleaned and there were about 100 holes in the walls. Shona was appreciative of our patience, however we didn’t have much choice. We moved our painter to the following day which meant we couldn’t move any of our furniture in until 5 days later when the painting was finished and we were back at work by this point. Shona gave us a $30 voucher to say thank you for our patience and did apologies. However this experience was very disappointing considering it was our first home purchase. Shona is paid by the vendor to ensure everything goes smoothly and should have ensured the house was ready at settlement and checked in with them along the way. We understand things happen and are happy to compromise but it got ridiculous in the end and hope that this experience doesn’t happen to anyone else in the future.

Honest and reliable
We as a family have been viewing property’s for a while now.. we’ve had agents trying to rip us off telling us where 30k off the offers submitted..to find out we was about a thousand dollars.. Shona was honest from the start she kept us informed thought out and never once tried to rip us off.. we worked closely with Shona and the vendor and came to a price what suited us all..we are extremely happy with the property and the way we was treated from start to finish Thanks Shona for all your help from my self and the whole family 10/10 service
