We meet James a number of times at similar houses to ours as we wanted to experience his service and knowledge potentially as our future agent. James simply outshone the competition when it came to his follow-up and results. We were extremely comfortable in appointing James and he did not let us down. We had over 180 people inspect our home and in our meeting with James prior to the auction James highlighted 4 strong groups he felt would bid at auction. He was spot on. All of those buyers competed at the auction plus 2 more. James really worked hard as our agent and even more so as our auctioneer when he squeezed the last 2 buyers to compete for more than $100,000. James was an absolute pleasure to work with right from the get go. He was truly knowledgeable (as I was an out of area vendor) kept me well informed throughout the entire process, and quick to respond. Whilst we knew it was a challenging property to sell, he was transparent and no sugar coating, demonstrating honesty and integrity, yet still persistent and worked hard to market the property. Overall, we were very pleased with the result given the market conditions and challenging property. James managed to achieve our sale price with a quick settlement with no disruption to the existing tenancy which was a win win for all parties.

James is a great communicator and was never lost for appropriate words, regular assurance and keeping the sales campaign on track. Agents enthusiasm was high in the beginning, but I felt it dipped on some occasions. I felt pressure at times when the agents only line of attack was for us to lower our price. I also felt our first real offer was not handled as best it could have been because of rushing our decision. Alex Noutsos was wonderful to work with and easy to relate with, making for a good experience. Unfortunately due to personal circumstances and timing, which we completely understand he was not with us when our sale went through. This I am sure was as disappointing for Alex as it was for us. I also felt that once the sale was done there was no close consideration of celebrating felt from Belle staff, other than to get signatures and conclude communications, and at the same time the agent who stepped in for Alex allowed our sale price to be released even though we specifically requested it not be published. This was extremely disappointing and an indication of really how little Belle staff closely listened to and cared for clients.
