About David

I was educated at Wesley College in Prahran, completing HSC in 1983 and then studied Economics/Accounting at university. During school I became involved in competitive weightlifting and continued throughout my youth. In 1986 I won a silver medal at the Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh Scotland. In 1990 I decided to commence a career in building and property. I initially started working for a large commercial formwork and construction company called Hans Schmidt and Partners. I then began working for a large building company called Glenvill Homes. A strong passion for building, property and real estate is what initially lured me to the industry and I have now been selling established real estate for years. During this time I’ve involved myself in all areas of the real estate process, including sales, marketing, auctions, project marketing and property management. I have worked in numerous regions throughout Melbourne and opened my own Wilson Pride office in 1999. In this time we have made great inroads as one of the market leaders. Throughout my career I have managed to build a strong and credible reputation, with a commitment to achieving superior service and fantastic results. On a personal note, I am married with two children and have a scruffy terrier called Loofah. It’s always exciting to meet new clients and exceed your price expectations.

Lee is a very experienced agent who knows the local market very well and I had full confidence

Lee helped achieved the sale of my apartment within a short 2-3 weeks from on-market listing despite a challenging market amongst the background of consecutive interest rate increases (with prediction of another 2 more to come), war in the middle east sending fuels prices skyrocketing and cost of living pressures. Lee navigated across these hurdles and sought potential buyers by focussing on the strong appeal of the apartment which was its location. Lee also understood the profile of buyers in this location and what appeals to them and respected the ideal price point I requested. I woudl recommend Lee for anyone looking to sell their property.

Excellent communicator with real commitment to getting the best result for the client.

Very responsive, knowledgeable and most importantly put in real effort to thorough preparation for the sales campaign. His sales craft clearly demonstrated by achieving competitive bidding and great results better than anticipated. No Hype, Just Honest Advice and Results

On the weekend just gone (Nov 2025) Lee sold my house at auction. From day one, he was easy to talk to and kept me in the loop with clear, straightforward communication. He didn’t try to inflate the price just to win me over but instead gave me a realistic number based on what the market was actually doing. He rang me after every open for inspection to let me know how it went and if there were any potential buyers. I never felt like I was left guessing what was happening or what the next step would be. He clearly knows the market and worked to achieve the best outcome for me, not just a quick sale, we had some pre-offers but decided that the interest was high enough to take it to auction. In the end, the house sold at auction above the reserve, and I credit that to Lee’s knowledge, communication, and his ability to bring in buyers. If you’re looking for someone who’s professional but also approachable and trustworthy, I’d highly recommend Lee.
