I've used Hudson McHugh (of whom James is a Director) for a couple of years. Firstly, to manage my elderly father's property as a rental then to sell. When I was looking for an agent to manage the property I made it clear that we wanted to rent the property then when the time was right sell it, and that if the agent did a good job managing the property, and we felt that we could trust them, then they would have first opportunity to sell it. I spoke to three agents (including one that is supposedly a friend of the family) and two lied to me about what rental return we could expect (presumably because they wanted to sell the house straight away). James gave us a very accurate assessment of what we could expect as rental income and when we decided to sell the house he did a superb job preparing it for sale and marketing it. The main thing I appreciated was the sharing of information and collaborative approach to selling. I was able to easily make decisions regarding how much we'd spend on the preparation of the property because I was getting accurate information. All up, we had a very good experience and would do the same thing if we had another property to sell.
