After searching for a property for the last 12 months or so across various areas of Melbourne, having dealt with some of the shadiest and most untrustworthy real estate agents, we settled on a property in Heathmont. David from Croydon Ray White was the listing agent. At the very first inspection he had quoted a low amount/guide which ended up being nowhere near the final selling price. This is done by many agents but most keep it low up until the auction. In the days leading up to taking offers David had advised the price guide had gone up with the number of interested buyers increasing. During this time, we felt extremely comfortable dealing with David and appreciated his honesty and professionalism. After settlement the vendor had left quite a bit of rubbish, a concern that had been raised 4 days prior but was assured it would all be removed even after mentioning to have another walk though. Aside from this David came across as very genuine, understanding, willing to assist and wasn't fixated on earning commission. When David wasn't able to answer or respond to messages straight away, we would receive a follow up within a reasonable timeframe. We would definitely be happy to go through David again to buy or even sell.
