He answered most questions we had and where he could not give a definitive answer he was prepared to go and find out. A follow-up call was not far away. My wife, Alison, and I are more than impressed with the way in which the sale of our unit in West Melbourne was handled by Trevor Gange, the North Melbourne Sales Manager of Jellis Craig. He advised us to list the property for auction and whilst the property was passed in at auction without a bid Trevor remained committed to his strategy and ended up obtaining a price for us which other agents in the area have commented was at least $100,000 more than we could have expected. The whole program was faultless and his attention to detail was exemplary (and that assessment is based on nearly 50 years as a solicitor). This is was the second time we had sold a property with Simon Shrimpton. We were very pleased with the entire experience. We'd lived at Como St for many years and were rather dreading the business of selling, but it was easy and even surprisingly enjoyable. The process of preparing the house for sale, including repairs, styling, advertising etc, was pretty much organised for us. We even had an unexpected hospitalisation event in the middle of the preparation for sale, which was seamlessly accommodated and didn't seem to cause much of a propblem. Simon and Danielle Reynolds were attentive and considerate, kept us fully briefed and had an impressive handle on interested buyers, their circumstances etc. We were guided by Simon and Danielle's advice with regard to the approach to the sale, and that turned out to have been a great decision.
