Moving to Orange from Sydney has been a big step for us as a couple but thanks to Jane, Sam and Kylie from John Cook for being there every step of the way. The property that we have rented now was not even one of the properties we were supposed to inspect the day we drove to Orange, but lovely Sam who was the personnel that showed us one property suggested us of another property that we might be interested. She was very transparent from the very start which we appreciated so much. However, that property was not scheduled for any inspection but when we called their office, Jane was able to manage to show us the property which was last minute. We felt the support from John Cook Real Estate from the start. Then the property was lovely so we decided to apply for it. Reviews of rent is usually undertaken annually with recommendations from the agent on revised rent amounts. We generally check these ourselves and have found their recommendations reflect the current market values. We have been with John Cook R/E for over 5 years and have 2 properties managed by them. They undertake regular 6 monthly inspections and we have been pleased with the quality of the tenants they recommended to us. We have not had any issues with tenants being in arrears.

Always daunting when long-term tenants give notice about 2 months before Xmas, knowing that some upgrading of flooring and the kitchen was necessary. Staff at John Cook were excellent at arranging and coordinating experienced trades people, especially all the repairs the Handyman had to do at short notice. All the work was completed by early December with new tenants signed up before Xmas. John Cooks are highly recommended

I’m only 18 I nor my partner had no rental history and barely anything under our belts but a decent job and these amazing amazing people have given us a shot! The service, the communication, the care it’s all wayyy above standard John cook really will go above and beyond to help anyone out. Highly recommend, not only did they help me out in such a short amount of time but also made sure I had all the knowledge I needed as a first time renter and really made me feel welcome into my home. Before I was excepted for my place John cook still went out of their way to make sure I could attend also every open house so I had more of a choice, also notified me when they thought it would suit.
