We spoke with Jay quite a long time before we decided to sell. He was happy to stay in touch, without pressuring us, until we were ready. His manner in dealing with us was very pleasant and relaxed, his advice was always sound, and he got us the result we wanted in a very realistic time frame. We are both Deaf (cannot hear over phone) and Jay has been patient and wonderful in emailing and text messaging us. After selling our home, we were looking at putting an initial deposit on a home elsewhere on that day until coming across a home we wanted to look at before doing anything. It was Jay's day off and he went out of his way to let us inspect the property twice on the same day. After feeling it was a better buy in such a lovely and leafy area, he was honest and helpful with our questions and our offer was accepted. A wonderful buying experience and best decision we have ever made. All thanks to Jay to make things happen in a short period on his day off.

Greg and I had engaged another agent with all these promises. The promises never happened and Paul realised how disappointed we were. He took control of our listing and with his sales team at L J Hooker Bateau Bay held open houses and private showings. We couldn't have been happier with the way he followed up on showings and contacted us regarding inspections and prospective purchasers comments. The rest is history and the house was sold.

Jay was one of the most helpful people that I have experienced in some years. I thought I took a chance when I accepted what might have been considered a higher commission, but it proved well worth it. Even after the deposit was taken we experienced, frankly, some embarrassing difficulties outside our control, and his efforts and professionalism made us very happy with the outcome. Including well above market price for the property.
