In November 2015 I decided to sell my townhouse and hopefully move to a small single level house nearby. Karen Renouf was recommended by a friend after I had already interviewed another agent who I was rather satisfied with. I made an appointment with Karen and she presented a comprehensive and thorough comparative market analysis that compared this townhouse with other similar properties in the area which had recently been sold or were currently for sale. I was impressed by this presentation which clearly disclosed what marketing would be done and all costs, so I was very comfortable in selecting Karen to try and sell my townhouse. Karen advertised the property and her and her team conducted open house on Saturdays as well as brought prospective buyers through on a regular basis. Unfortunately the time ran into the Christmas/New Year period meaning most things (including selling property) seemed to slow down, however Karen's team continued to remain positive and seemed to put even more effort into securing a sale, with the result being that a buyer was found and after much negotiation a sale was finalised. There were a lot of similar properties on the market when mine was also put up for sale and I have since noticed that most of them are still for sale so I am very happy that I chose Karen as my agent. During all our dealings, Karen's team continually kept me informed and I found them to be very obliging, courteous, ethical and trustworthy. Mid 2015 we arranged for an appraisal of our property as we had decided to move to the Sunshine Coast. We contacted Karen Renouf for two reasons, the first being that she had sold the property to us six years ago and we had been impressed by her at that point. Since moving to the area we have constantly seen Karen's signs on properties in the area and surrounding suburbs and have always been impressed by the seemingly short period of time between a 'For Sale' sign going up and the 'Sold' sign appearing. For those reasons we didn't hesitate to arrange for Karen to do an appraisal for us. She visited and discussed the current market, past market and how she felt we should proceed going forward. Her knowledge, research and professionalism is impressive to say the least and early this year (2016) we again contacted Karen when all systems were go to place our property on the market. All our dealings with her have been excellent and she has ensured that the process has been without stress. The photographs taken for the website looked great and we had two offers on the very first day!! By the evening we had accepted an offer for our asking price and a week later we were unconditional!!! We couldn't be happier with the result. Sometimes in this day and age it is hard to find a professional who genuinely cares and who has absolute integrity.
