While on one hand we got limited updates /progress reports during the marketing period prior to auction - perhaps because potential buyers were not showing their hand - on the day Stephen delivered ! We were very satisfied with the auction result and the price obtained on the day. This is in a long way due to how Stephen managed the auction as auctioneer. Too many auctioneers rush and the property ends up being passed in. Bidding stalled on our property at a price way below the reserve but instead of rushing tom pass in the bidding was slowed and a competition between bidders subsequently opened up which led to a very satisfactory final process under the hammer. As both an agent and as an auctioneer Stephen has a nice manner that engenders trust with both vendors and prospective purchasers.
