After 13 years of living in Sydney and working in Canberra Sunday to Friday it was time to retire and rejoin my family in Sydney. As L J Hooker, Manuka were the long term manager of our Studio Apartment in Griffith where they had been first class property managers, they were given the first opportunity to sell the studio which they achieved in minimal time achieving our expected price, Whilst selling the Studio, Simon was always keen in assisting us with selling the Kingston Unit. From beginning to the end Simon led us through the sale of Kingston. Step by step he provided us with advise and guidance. The unit made it to market and was sold before going to Auction, setting a new bench mark for the price for a Kingston Apartment of its age and condition. We cannot commend Simon highly enough for the price he achieved. However, it did not end there and he was there until settlement and even after the settlement was completed. Thank you Simon

The family's relationship with Stephen started a few years before the sale of the property. He always made himself available to visit to give market advice and/or property evaluations, or just to chat about the state of real estate in Canberra, and when the best time to sell would be. He never tried to push for us to sell the property, and more often than not, told us to hold on, to ensure we sold when market conditions were favourable. It was a no-brainer that we went to Stephen when we were fully ready. The process of the sale was very smooth - a couple of meetings to discuss key details and then the auction was quick and impressive, delivering the family a great price for the property. The marketing campaign had worked well and on the day Stephen and the team brought their experience to bear when it came to running the actual auction and they delivered. Thanks very much, Stephen. We chose Samuel because we thought he would resonate with the younger / first home buyers we were seeking to target with our property, though we met him at an open home in another part of Canberra. Samuel worked with us for more than six months as we were clear that we wanted to find our new home before listing. During this time he provided us with guidance as to the state of the market and what our house was likely worth so we could factor that into our planning. When it finally came time to list, it was clear he had good connections to stylists and trades etc. who did a fantastic job and ultimately helped us to exceed our reserve. The property went to auction and Samuel was very much of the 'trust the process' mindset and not wanting to close a deal through private treaty prior to auction, which was a temptation to us given our sense that the market was cooling in early 2022. Samuel was also accommodating of prospective buyer's requests for mid week inspections and other accommodations due to COVID etc. Would recommend Samuel if you're listing a starter home in the Tuggeranong area.
