We had a wonderful house viewing process with Treavell and then once we had moved into the property and realised the pest control hadn't been done and we had so many spiders and ants, we had to throw out food on the second day of the tenancy as it was covered in ants, we contacted our property manager and her response was that they already knew this was an issue prior to us moving in but they couldn't get in contact with the owner so nothing can be done about it until they do. I was so very dissapointed with this, not only did they know prior to us moving in that it was an issue but they didn't tell us about it when we picked up the keys and didn't seem phased or in any kind of rush to get it rectified. We told them we are happy to organise pest control and send them the invoice or take it out of our rent, she said she cannot authorise that and if we don't pay the full amount of rent then that isn't her problem but another departments so it won't affect her.
