We could not have done it ourselves and the end result was breath-taking. The house was almost unrecognisable. Whilst sprucing the house up for sale was in her best interests as well to maximise sale price, I got the feeling she actually cared and had a passion for renovating the house more than merely a means to an end. There was always a concerted effort to keep us informed of developments as the sales process moved along. We thought we were dealt with honestly even when subjects that were not entirely to our liking. We respected that. We were not privy to the details of the negotiations held with the purchaser, but we were happy with the outcome. Therefore, we did not need to be a witness to what was said.
