We recently engaged Manor to lease our property and had a mixed experience, which is why I’ve given them a 3-star rating. There were certainly some positive aspects, especially at the beginning, but a few areas fell short of expectations as things progressed. The process started off very well. The Business Development Manager responded to our initial enquiry promptly and even visited our home the same day with a clear and informative presentation of the leasing process. This gave us confidence in choosing Manor, and shortly after signing up, marketing of the property commenced. Impressively, the property was leased within a week — a great outcome. However, after the strong start, the experience tapered off somewhat. During the tenant application process, we encountered some issues that required us to flag errors in the applications ourselves. I also would have appreciated more proactive guidance in selecting a suitable tenant, which I’ve received from other agents in the past. Having owned and leased multiple properties, I found this lack of support noticeable. Leading up to the lease signing and handover, there were a few occasions where we needed to follow up to keep things moving. Additionally, we noticed some inconsistencies in the draft lease that required correction on our end. Overall, while we were pleased with the initial service and how quickly the property was leased, I believe there’s room for improvement in the support and attention to detail provided through the latter stages of the leasing process. I’m hopeful that the ongoing management of our property will be more consistent and positive moving forward.
