Although we sold our home, the process was not as stress-free as Kevin assured us it would be. The first niggling concern was when we arranged our first open home time with Kevin. This arrangement was not passed on to others in the team, meaning we had to rearrange our day to accommodate a different time. Problems with team communication occurred again after our last open home. Kevin rang to say he had someone who was very interested and with the appropriate budget who had not been able to attend the open home. We agreed to a private inspection later that afternoon and Kevin said he would arrange for a different Manor agent to be there. The buyers arrived at the agreed time - no agent. I rang Kevin twice - no response. I posted on the team WhatsApp - no response. I tried the Manor office who knew nothing about the inspection and also couldn't contact Kevin. The buyers tried to contact him, to no avail. We were very stressed about the whole situation as we had not had many buyers interested to date. After 20 minutes, another Manor agent messaged on WhatsApp to say he would be 10 minutes - he arrived just as the potential buyers were leaving. This agent apologised profusely and explained he had not been given the inspection information. He was then in regular contact with us over the next few days to negotiate the price. We heard nothing from Kevin, until after we agreed on a price - Kevin rang to ask how much we wanted to pay on the sliding scale of agent fees! No apologies, nothing. The icing on the cake was a few weeks after the sale when we were contacted by a junior Manor agent, asking if we were still interested in selling!!
