About Gary

After moving to Healesville as a child in 1974, Gary Lucas can definitely be considered a local. Having grown up and spent his working career in the Yarra Valley, he doesn’t just know the area – he loves it! Along the way Gary has been a furniture manufacturer, operated a home business and was a manager at Yarra Junction Hardware for several years. The big change for Gary came in 2007 when an opportunity arose to pursue a career in Real Estate. This gave Gary the chance to fully utilise his many years of experience providing great service and advice to clients. Gary’s vision is quite simple; he wants to be able to help people achieve buying and selling property, at the same time always provide excellent service and support to his clients. Gary also understands the value of having a supportive family behind him – and is privileged to have the encouragement of his wife and two daughters in his Real Estate career. For the best part of 2010 and 2011, Gary and his family enjoyed the adventure of a lifetime. They sold their family home, bought a large caravan and travelled around Australia. After experiencing a lot of what our great country offers, and meeting many people, Gary and his family returned to the Yarra Valley to resume his career in Real Estate. Gary has a no nonsense approach

Gary has a great local area knowledge and gave advice based on the market trends. He kept me updated with feedback from prospective purchasers. Although I had to drop my price from initial advice on what my property would sell for I am still satisfied with the price Gary was able to negotiate. Gary has a no nonsense approach to selling and doesn’t make unreal promises. I found Gary to be a straight shooter and have no hesitation recommending him for anyone contemplating selling.

Gary experience brings great professionalism, advise and support.

Gary’s input into the sales and marketing campaign was greatly appreciated. Along with this tremendous local knowledge and reputation, it was only a matter of when, not if, the property was going to sell. Fantastic experience with Gary

My experience with Gary was exemplary. Gary went out of his way to allow me to view the property on two occasions outside inspection times. He gave me the space to sit with my thoughts without any pressure to make a decision quickly. He was respectful and supportive throughout the buying process and demonstrated great knowledge about the build of the home. There was a distinct moment where I saw the property through Gary's eyes and that sealed the deal for me. Gary is a responsive communicator and managed the negotiation respectfully. I would not hesitate to have Gary sell my home in the future.

Straightforward professional agent, highly recommend
