Russell is a very experienced agent who has been selling since 1998. Russell is the fourth generation of Matthews family agents, a trusted local name in real estate for Annerley and surrounds since 1933. Russell is a licensed real estate agent with a well-rounded knowledge of all facets of property including development sites, project sales and residential sales. His areas of expertise are those in which he lives and works namely, Annerley, Moorooka, Salisbury, Yeronga, Rocklea Greenslopes, Tarragindi, Holland Park, Fairfield and surrounding areas. Trevor Matthews is the current Principal of our agency and is a Registered Valuer, Real Estate Agent, Body Corporate Manager, Auctioneer and a life member of the Real Estate Institute of Queensland. Like his father and grandfather before him, Trevor is very well connected in both property and local community circles being very active in the Moorooka Lions Club. Trevor has seen the expansion of Brisbane over time and has been involved in thousands of property transactions. Trevor's experience spans over 55 years. There's not much he doesn't know when it comes to any aspect of real estate.

Great experience from start to finish

I engaged Matthews Real Estate to sell my property and had a great experience from start to finish. I knew the sale was going to potentially be a challenging one due to the new Heritage overlay regulations in Moorooka. But between Trevor Matthews (61 years experience) and Russell Matthews (27 years experience) I was confident they would know the best course of action to get the property sold. A VERY HONEST RELIABLE SALESPERSON

I found Russell Matthews a very professional trustworthy real estate agent. He has a lot of knowledge of the suburbs around Moorooka and Annerley which made me feel very confident. GROUND FLOOR UNIT IN YERONGA.

I am pleased to share some of the reasons that made me happy to have chosen Russell and his team to sell this unit. On the first meeting we were offered Matthews best commission rate and advice on extras such as advertising and signage. With a long history of working and living in the area as well as being in a very prominent position I was sure that they would have great knowledge of values of units as well as also being involved in the local community. Matthews would also have built up a large number of loyal customers who often buy again in or close to the same suburb. The whole time I felt that Russell was working for me and was always available to answer any concerns and would offer to make any changes, but I stuck with his best advice from experience and it paid off. The acceptable price was reached very quickly with Russell managing to bring the buyer up to that figure with his expertise. Even though it was a smaller sale Russell and his team managed to not only do the required open days, but also fitted in with appointment times with prospective buyers. I could not have been happier with the entire handling of the sale. Thank you again.
