This is the second time we have used McDonald Partners and, in particular, Dino Salvatore. We interviewed 3 agents to determine who we (my brother, sister and I) thought would be the best agent to sell the property. McDonalds was not the cheapest option, but was able to best outline the current market conditions and offer a wider range of options than others. Both times we have found the McDonald's team to be more than willing to go the extra mile with an initial consultation from Dino that outlined what he thought the property needed to gain the best result (cleaning, painting, declutter and general appearance), the current ways to go to market and where he thought the best result would be derived. Further, he even advised of a number of low cost strategies that we could implement, as well as feedback from people viewing the property. This meant that we had a comprehensive marketing approach to cover all bases. All without having committed to the sale through McDonalds. After revamping my mother's unit we contacted Dino and signed the contract to sell. He again looked at the property and we agreed to timelines for the sale process and final preparation. We only had 2 Open Houses and some private viewings, but there was more than enough interest to allow him to suggest the silent auction approach and the result was well beyond our expectations. From exchange to settlement was trouble free and , on settlement, all three of us (vendor, purchaser and agent) were completely happy. All told 2 weeks on the market and 42 days settlement, and a record price for this type of unit in the block. All this when the market was only supposed to be coming back on line from Christmas 2016. It was a similar story the first time, some 2 1/2 years ago with my Mother in Laws villa. At the time, I was told that the price achieved was a "Benchmark" for the area from another agent. We couldn't be happier and are happy to recommend McDonalds to everyone !
