Mark came into our lives about 12 months ago after organising a valuation of our home at 42 Glenhope Road, West Pennant Hills. Marks approach as an Agent was a very genuine person who had a professional expertise for listing and selling a prestige up market home. Mark totally gained our confidence in his ability and a valuation took place, although we were not truly convinced we were even interested in selling our home; as the enquiry for the sale of the home came from door knocking from a very enthusiastic young man who was engaged by Mark through the McGrath Real Estate. Over the coming weeks a sale price of over $5 million was agreed on, as the home quality/inclusions/presentation (the size of the home approx. 120 squares, basement, elevator, full resort with pool and many other features). The Sales Agreement signed, photography and brochures were prepared with a very discreet selling program without any signage. Marks professionalism truly came to the fore when he commenced having appointments and inspections, his attention to detail and communication was excellent (not once did we ever have to follow up Mark to convey information. Mark was totally proactive in keeping us informed on every detail and prospective owner’s comments of the home). Mark identified the buyer within the first 60 days, although due to many circumstances (which Mark could explain) it took approximately another 60 days to execute the sale of our home. Yes, $5 million A RECORD MARKET PRICE for a residential home in the Hills. Marks diligence and time obtaining the home exchange ensured the sale proceeded smoothly. Once again, Mark was communicating regularly whilst dealing with both Vendors and Purchasers solicitors. Although the sale had been executed, Mark kept in touch with us over the 2 month settlement time, as he was very conscious he was a big part of changing our destiny. Our property was very old and had not been touched with a paintbrush for at least 40 years. Although a solid property the condition was not up to the standards expected of today. Mark worked very hard to sell the property and kept us informed along the way of all comments from viewers of the home. The property was sold in the promised time at a price better than expected.

I would like to thank Mark and Markus for all your help selling the family home. After 38 years, the decision to move is always daunting. Markus had kept in touch periodically over the 12 months prior enquiring if we were ready to sell.
