Once again in 2020 James Baker of McGraths demonstrated for me his outstanding abilities as a Real Estate Agent. As part of my planning to downsize from my substantial waterfront property of which sadly I was the sole occupant, I had previously bought a suitable site to build a smaller more suitable home for my 92 years age. James was the selling agent and I was most impressed with his capacity to deal competently and fairly with me while always having the best interests of his client clearly uppermost. Consequently when the time came for sale of my waterfront, I appointed James/ McGraths. In a difficult market for the price bracket of my property we were unable to find a serious buyer despite James' strenuous efforts. He identified a prospective purchaser who needed to sell his Southern Highlands property before committing to another substantial investment. James suggested and negotiated a six month option for them to purchase and I readily accepted this and the fee. When the option expired the country property was still not sold with bush fires badly affecting this market and the option expired. Undeterred James maintained contact and when their property sold he again returned to me to renew their interest. My property sold to them and the outcome was completely satisfactory to me. I could not be more satisfied with his persistence and total professionalism. I can also confirm from the friendly relationships established with the purchasers that they too are extremely satisfied with the transactions.
