Trev is a great agent. This is the second house we sold with him and both times we have been really impressed. He visited our house a number of times over the last two years to discuss selling. He connected with us and helped us through the whole process. Prior to sale he gave us solid advice about how to prepare the house for sale including what work we should do to perfect our presentation without overcapitalising. He understands the market thoroughly and connects with potential buyers to ensure he has a thorough understanding of their position along their wants and needs. After every inspection he knew exactly who was interested and what they thought our house was worth. It gave us confidence we were getting a good price for our house. Trev also provided us solid advice for purchasing our next house including advice about how to deal with agents and a thorough guide to bidding strategy at auction that helped us win our house at auction. Trev has a calm and friendly personality that reassured us that we were making the right decision. We did a number of off-market viewings and although we had a good offer Trev felt we could get more on-market which was proven true. Also having purchased a house in the same area we inspected a lot of other houses with different agents and really noticed the difference in presentation and professionalism between many of the agents and Trev. It was miles apart and we felt more reassured every time that we had made the correct decision to sell with Trev and McGrath. Commission and marketing fees were competitive. If you are thinking of selling and have a number of agents in mind I think it is worth doing some inspections at houses they are selling with to see if they live up to their sales pitch. We were especially surprised with nonexistent or slow follow up from some agents. In contrast we definitely feel that Trev did his best for us during the sales process and could not be happier with the service he provided.
