Ben and Jackson were very helpful during the whole buying process. Ben helped to Negotiate to the Sale with the Seller and Jackson was with me every Step of the Way. Jackson was always a call away with any question I had and he was always very responsive and eager to help. I met Jackson at the property numerous times to let trades into the Property and he always made time for this and it a easy process. As a first time seller I was daunted and overwhelmed by the plethora of information, documentation and real estate jargon that everyone seems to have secured by osmosis (especially in West End over these last few years). From the very beginning, I knew Ben was the man to sell my property. Why? I told him exactly what I was looking for in an agent and what I wanted as a seller. He fulfilled all of the criteria. Personable, informative and integrity are words few would consider synonymous with real estate agents (I’ve met a number of ‘yes men’-too cool-and-busy-to-speak-to-you ‘agents’ in West End/ South Brisbane when first thinking of selling in 2014); however, Ben is a human being and treats his clients as such in an old school manner. Does what he says and means what he says. His astute, savvy behind the scenes work managing a number of people ‘just in case’ looked exhausting from afar. I know that, if I had to do it all over again, I’d go with Ben and his team (Jackson is a star too!). You should too. If you have never bought or sold a property, if you have been around the block a number of times, or maybe you just don’t know which agent to go with in such a dynamic real estate space, you should know that this team knows the West End and South Brisbane market. As the purchaser, we were unlucky enough to just get caught up in the recent tightening of bank lending requirements brought about by the 2018 Banking Enquiry. We needed an extension of time to finance in order that we could conform to multiple new banking requests. Ben navigated the vendor to gain these extensions and was understanding of our difficulties (and theirs). Despite 3 extensions we managed to settle 2 days beyond the original settlement date. Thanks Ben for the help there.
