When it came time to sell my townhouse Daniel Hastings was recommended to me as an agent by close friends who have bought, renovated and sold properties throughout the Illawarra for the past 35-years. They described Daniel as honest, which was very important to me. Daniel proved to be much more than just honest. From the time of his proposal Daniel was completely transparent and professional, fulling backing his advice regarding price range with current relevant sales data. I knew these weren't just figures pulled out of the air. The furniture stylist Daniel recommended did a fantastic job, actually turning what I considered a weakness of my property into a strength. The opens were run. Offers came in. Daniel was always there to advise and assist with the negotiation, but also always willing to listen and act as instructed. In the end, I listened to Daniel and the sale was effected quickly and exceeded my expectations in price. The price achieved was right at the top end of the price guide. It would have been even higher if I was dishonest and willing to gazump a buyer, which I was not willing to do as I wouldn't want it done to me. All in all, I cannot recommend Daniel Hastings highly enough. He was professional, honest, and exactly correct. I wouldn't even consider using anyone else in the Illawarra.

We were highly impressed with Victor from the first time we met him when he gave us a market valuation of our home in January this year. For this reason we invited him to give us a marketing proposal for the above mentioned investment property when we decided to sell. Victor displayed many qualities that impressed us. These included being very professional in his verbal & written communication, proactive, a high level of integrity, very polite, great market knowledge yet humble in his demeanor. All of these qualities were continually displayed during the marketing campaign, and this gave us a high degree of confidence during this time, meaning that we were very confident in being guided by his advice. This was particularly evident in the pre-auction planning meeting, and on auction night. Although we were anticipating a higher level of interest in the property, we were very happy with the final outcome.

I have known Victor (Mr. Shalala) for a long time. He sold my house in Keiravill NSW around a decade ago and since then every now and then I approached him for matters related to investment properties in Wollongong. To my judgement, he is the most competent agent when comes to downtown Wollongong with high knowledge of the marketplace. During the sale of 61/313 Crown St. I was overseas. Nonetheless, a perfect communication link was there (mostly thanks to his assistance; Angela) that was very useful. Finally, Victor is an honest and reliable person, and very generous to provide pre-sale comments and suggestions for a better presentation of the unit for sale.
