Tenacious and transparent negotiator with a heart of gold
"Making a real estate sale is like making sausages: if you knew what goes into one, you'd be surprised." - David Murphy
David Murphy first came to my notice when he established an office at the end of my street. I was particularly impressed when he decorated the exterior with a hand-painted reproduction of the original land sale advertisement for the (then undeveloped) neighbourhood. "This is man who gets sales and marketing," I thought.
At the suggestion of my wife, we interviewed David and his equally impressive colleague Bindi when we decided to sell. We spoke to others, of course, but there was an easy rapport which swayed us David and Bindi's way.
During the interview, David said trust was important and, while I nodded at the time, I actually understand that now. When our marketing campaign reached the stage where some difficult decisions had to be made, we found it easy to be honest with him and I think, he with us.
David and Bindi have been a class act from go to whoa. They worked exceptionally hard to achieve a result we were very happy with and gave us a few laughs along the way. They have our enthusiastic recommendation. If we could give six stars, we would.
