Two Agencies were recommended to handle the sale of my property. After meeting with Megan I saw no reason to meet the other agencies representative. Megan demonstrated a thorough knowledge of the market, understood my expectations and was very open with regards the sale. I found Megan to be an incredibly invested and honourable person. She at no stage provided inflated expectations of price and gave excellent advice with regards what she thought could be done to my property to enhance its presentation to prospective buyers, yet remained pragmatic. Throughout the advertising/sale process I was provided with excellent feedback on interested parties comments and quickly developed a list of potential bidders. This analysis of bidders on the day was very helpful and gave me significant confidence that we would achieve a good sale price. Megan was positive at the auction, but unlike some sales people at other agencies did not over hype my expectations. When the property was sold I think Megan was as excited as I was as she had really invested herself in the sale process; the fact the she achieved almost $100,000 above the reserve clearly shows she knows her profession and the market. I always had confidence that Megan was working hard for me but was ensuring that my expectations remained realistic. Megan is a delightful person, with a keen sense of humour, a bubbly personality and a mind fully attuned to the real estate market in both her area and more broadly. I strongly recommend My Agent as a trustworthy and professional agency. The ladies in the agency work as a team and all work together to get the best result for the vendor. After six months of dealing with various agents in search of our new home, the My Agent team, and Christine Ewin and Megan Goucher in particular, were a breath of fresh air. Words like helpful, trustworthy, honest, and integrity are sadly not those which I commonly associate with the real estate industry. They are all applicable to Christine and her team. Many agents never bothered to return our calls. Conversely, Megan did an exceptional job with communication, responding quickly and cheerfully to any query. She offered helpful tips and advice and skillfully guided us through the buying process. Her attention to detail is unmatched and her desire to delight the customer is palpable. We felt like we were receiving personalised attention and at no time did we feel like a number in a queue. The service quality from the whole team is consistently high. Most folks understand how listening is a very powerful attribute in developing a business relationship, and from that day onwards, I felt professional trust developing between us. Since that first meeting, through until the finalisation of the sale late this week, Kaye and I have genuinely appreciated the spirit and values always exhibited by the entire My Agent team. During the sale process we often worked remotely regarding the detail of the sale with Dianne and Shea-Lee, notably with seamless results. Also, our face-to-face contact with those folks was always warm and receptive. Further, on the few occasions I visited the My Agent office, I was always greeted with a very personable approach by the staff, with Gemma always positively demonstrating why she was chosen for her work at the front desk. And as a company, the sense of the ‘market’ and business ethics, the determination of Chirstine and the My Agent team to make the most of our sale, meant there would be a great result at the Auction of the property.
