Real estate chose me. I had never owned a home, attended an open house or knew what the market was doing. I was thrown into sales when I said "yes" to a job offer in 2001 and hoped I would like it. In my first year I won International Best New Talent for the LJ Hooker franchise and a trip to San Francisco to attend training on a global level. I was considered a unicorn by my peers, they said I had an X factor that no one could duplicate. A change of franchise and business strategy and next I am a key note speaker at an Australian real estate conference for a franchise that I had been crowned their number 1 sales person. They wanted to understand how I became so successful. It's a bit embarrassing to think I had no formula but that I am a hugger, I like humans and I love being part of solving people's real estate issues. Clients like me; because I am me. Sometimes too honest. Sometimes a little too cheeky. But I am always authentic, ethical and have built my personal brand by not being guarded or having an over inflated sense of who I am. "My Agent" was born from an overwhelming desire to build a business, working with like minded people. A team that are compassionate, honest and real. Kate started her real estate career with Raine & Horne Batemans Bay in 2006 with a traineeship in Certificate III in Property completing with a distinction. Beginning in reception where she gained customer service skills led her to join the holiday property management department where her experience in the industry grew. Great lady with great salsmanship

As we lived interstate, Megan’s job was made harder. Communication with us and the vendors (negotiated while we were in SA then when we decided to buy) not being rushed through the inspection was moorrant and Megan’s friendliness could not be faulted. Come have a cuppa with us when we move Megan x

Megan was professional and a go-getter with excellent knowledge of the market.

After receiving appraisals and marketing info from several companies we chose Megan and the MyAgent team as she was super knowledgeable of the south coast market and her appraisal and marketing strategy proved to be spot on as the property was under offer after only a couple of weeks. She provided valuable advice and expert opinion on how to improve the presentation of the property for sale and what not to spend money on. A good example was opting to use a property staging company instead of painting the interior which saved half the cost and looked amazing. The communication from Megan and the team was excellent. We were always kept informed before and after open house and through calls and messages and the office always followed up with any information we needed via emails or calls. We knew exactly what was going on and what we needed to do throughout the sale process. Megan was super efficient with an action mindset. It was refreshing after hearing several old-school agent's deliver their appraisals and approaches with either a low-ball or overly exaggerated estimate. We highly recommend Megan and her team to anyone wishing to sell their property in the Malua Bay - Batemans Bay area. Tim and Marty Walsh
