We met with Jayson via a recommendation from a friend about a year or so prior to actually putting our home on the market. At that stage we just wanted some advice as we were contemplating selling our property and upsizing - we committed to him on the spot. We had approaches from a number of agents as we went through the process of attempting to buy and not once did we question our commitment to Jayson as our selling agent. It was the best move we made, what a great bloke and agent! From our first meeting (with no guarantee of business from us) he was by our side. At the start of the campaign Jayson and I discussed various sale scenarios, including a price that represented an idyllic pre-auction bid that could ‘stop the auction’ process. At the time, the price we optimistically decided upon was quite a bit higher than my initial expectations. However, as the month passed and the house was being made ready for sale, a number of external factors changed (e.g interest rates fell, similar properties in the area went for well above their reserve, etc.). So over a very short period the ‘auction stopper’ figure became more of a reality in my mind. After some robust discussions, Jayson adapted to this change and then found a purchaser very early on in the campaign that was prepared to offer an auction stopping bid. Needless to say, I was very happy with the result.
