When Michael first came to my home it was in a state of catastrophe – boxes and clutter everywhere! Where to start?! Over a cup of tea and lamingtons I told Michael my story and my goals re the house. Michael spent a lot of time with me explaining absolutely everything I needed to know about the selling process. We then went right through the property during which time he assessed it and developed the marketing strategy. Michael developed a "Plan of Action" for me which outlined the key events and, importantly, my role in the sale together with timelines. He organised the necessary tradesmen for me to bring the property up to scratch. Basically he offered a "One-Stop-Shop" service. Beneficially the "Plan" also included weekly visits by Michael to make sure I was on track with my tasks. We met my goal of listing my house in early March. Things started off well - then Covid-19 struck. Suddenly Open Homes were banned and buyers got the jitters! The pandemic had a huge impact on real estate generally and it certainly complicated the selling process and created a lot more work. However Michael was experienced and made well-informed predictions about the market and judgements about refining our strategy. He was flexible and resilient and was able to navigate skilfully through these difficult conditions. Most importantly, he maintained his cheerfulness and optimism through the whole process. The end result was a good sale, a happy seller and a happy buyer. Despite the somewhat scary experience, (not for the faint-hearted!), of selling during the pandemic I always enjoyed my dealings with Michael and I had confidence that he would deliver a good outcome for me. I found him to be professional and knowledgeable and a good communicator who kept me well informed of progress.
