I first met Matt by coincidence, as he was finalising the sale of our neighbour’s house in Samuel Street, Surry Hills. As I walked out, I had a friendly interaction with Matt as we were looking to buy a home. A few weeks later, Matt and Marcus showed us through the property and Matt also stayed back so me and my wife could make the viewing towards the end of the viewing window. After a few discussions with Matt, we placed a formal offer, and continued the discussions over the following days. While it was nerve-wracking, Matt was transparent throughout the process, and communicated clearly what the vendor was after, whether it was the price or the terms and conditions. Once in agreement, and the contract had been reviewed, we met with Matt and Marcus to sign the contract. My wife was still a little hesitant as we had only seen the property once, which is less than a usual auction campaign. Matt and Marcus were understanding and did not add any pressure on us, and also gave us some privacy to have a final think before we signed the contract! Marcus and Matt also arranged for access to the property during settlement so we could measure for furnishings. We could not be happier with the process, the team’s professionalism and calling Surry Hills our home.
