Rick recommended we do an auction and the home was only on the market for 3 weeks. I was worried that there wouldn’t be much interest, but I couldn't believe the turnout to the auction, especially given it was such miserable weather. Rick did a great job both post and prior to marketing the place. He organised builders, carpet cleaners and provided excellent advice. His ability to raise buyer interest in such a short time span was impressive. The house sold at auction above reserve and we very happy with the final result.

Robert, over the past 10 years you have sold three properties in Tuggeranong for me. On each occasion, because of your market knowledge, your initial assessment of likely sale price was extremely accurate. While I tried to present each property in its best condition, you were able to target the right market and achieve a quick sale. A win win for both of us. It is difficult to find shortcomings in your sales and marketing technique. You always turned up at agreed meeting times, offered good advice, not withheld any concerns and provided constructive suggestions in relation to marketing the properties. On each occasion your office took care of sales and marketing documents, referrals for property inspections, after sales financial statements etcetera, basically all I had to do was sign documents. You constantly kept me informed of ‘open house’ results and progress with potential buyers throughout. Given that I have been living in Queensland for each sale, it was comforting to know everything was being managed and I really had nothing to do. I understand that the selection of a solicitor can be a personal choice by the seller, perhaps in my situation i.e. living away from Canberra for some time, perhaps some guidance on my choice could have been given which may have lead to a more streamlined Settlement process.
