We recently sold our family home through Mel at Harcourt Connections Caboolture. I’d like to start off by saying Mel is a genuinely lovely person—warm, approachable, and clearly passionate about realestate. Her positive attitude and friendly demeanor made our initial interactions and meeting enjoyable and comfortable, which was ultimately the reason we chose her as our agent. That said, we did experience some challenges during the process, particularly around communication. We experienced consistent instances where updates were delayed or we were left waiting days on end for message replies or phone calls to be returned, which unfortunately created some uncertainty for me as a client. It became evident that Mel may have been experiencing a sudden increase in workload, and perhaps struggling to balance a growing roster of clients. Whilst Mel has a team that work alongside her that handle the day to day, this was not made clear during our initial meeting. We incorrectly assumed that the agent we met with and signed up with would be the agent we would have during this process. While I appreciate the effort she made and understand that this industry can be demanding, I do hope she is able to improve her responsiveness and time management moving forward. With her personable nature and dedication, I believe she has the potential to provide an exceptional experience with just a bit more structure and support in place.
