Great communication

We met Matt long before we ever thought about selling. Matt kept the lines of communication open and always asked how things were going in our lives. He invited us to previews of surrounding properties of interest and this personal connection led us to choose him as our selling agent when the time was right. During the sales campaign, Matt kept us updated with offers, open house attendance and feedback. Once we had accepted an offer he guided us through the process, mediating between us and the purchaser with confidence.

The Right Agent and Agency

We chose Matt Thompson from a cross-section of agents/agencies that we evaluated at the time, based on his knowledge of the market and of the Adamstown residential area, his obvious technical skills and his ability to communicate on our level. Also the PRD support team behind him and PRD's approach to "friendly auctions" seemed perfectly matched to our 'deceased-estate' sale. From the very start and during the lead-up to the auction Matt kept us fully informed of his numerous activities, regular web statistic reports (e.g. page hits, contacts, registrations), market trends during a period of rapid interest rate rises and property price reductions, and of nearby sales and potential buyers. We were not the easiest of clients, but he always put us at ease and gave us confidence in his strategy. Our choice proved to be an excellent one, with the final sale price falling exactly where he predicted over 3 months earlier, despite our expressed doubts. PRD's back-office operations ran smoothly both financially and legally, with no issues. We have no doubts we made the right choice in selecting Matt to be our agent and would not hesitate for one moment to do so again.

Great experience from start to finish

Highly recommend Matt and the team assisting him. Professional and patient from day one. Explained everything clearly on process, fees and strategy, gave clear recommendations to us and insights based on his experience and kept us updated every step of the way. Ultimately we didn’t get any nasty surprises and most importantly got a good result on our sale.
