Sarah Briggs was extremely friendly, and had exceptional communication skills. Sarah gave me information about the area and advice on how the property I was viewing shaped up to similar in the area. I was just moving out of home for the first time; Sarah took time to explain anything I was unsure of and was very empathetic in each interaction I had with her. She even gave me a call after my estimated move-in day to see if everything had gone smoothly. Joanna Taylor on the other hand was exceptionally rude, and my experience with her has severely impacted how I view LJ Hooker. Her bio below couldn't possibly be more incorrect based on three interactions I've had with her. Joanna was extremely unfriendly, had a stone-cold personality in-person. After sitting down with her for 15 minutes she did not smile once. We chased each other on the phone before our first contact. When I finally got in touch with her she complained how hard it had been to contact me, and then went on to say that I hadn't called her back (which I had with no pick-up). Then remarking, "yeah, but did you leave a message?" She also left a rude message in my message bank after failing to reach me a second time "Hi Mitchell, it's Joanna Taylor from LJ Hooker, againnnnn." She needs to have a hard look at herself, and stop representing your firm in a bad light. I'd seriously reconsider re-typing your bio because I guarantee you that not one LJ Hooker tenant/external would agree on these: Joanna joined our office as Receptionist/Administrator in 2016, She is best described as a person who is energetic, easy to approach and always happy to assist. Joanna’s background as a high level Executive Assistant in England, ensures that she is highly professional and delivers a high- calibre service in everything she does.

Sarah's professional, friendly and enthusiastic cold call arrived at a very opportune time as I was seeking to consolidate the management of my property portfolio. Changing my three agents after 18 years was not easy given the reason was not due to their management just my desire to simplify my life! Sarah made this change easy for me as she conducted herself in a very ethical way and was prepared to carry out my complex requests in relation to change over times and process so as not to disadvantage existing agencies or tenants. Transfers were achieved effortlessly and efficiently from my perspective and with nil complaints from tenants or agencies. As a result I have received fortnightly payments on time, timely and professional approach to letting of vacant property with minimal loss of rent, keen attention to tenants requests and of course only one agent to make contact with re the three properties and when organising inspections. Given my positive experience I can highly recommend Sarah and her team should you be wishing to find an agent or change your agency.
