Unfortunately I’m absolutely devastated about my house purchase with Mark. I regret ever putting an offer in. To put it simply buyer beware. I identified undisclosed structural damage and multiple cracks throughout the house which indicates poor builder workmanship. Some of these cracks were concealed with furniture which is unfortunate cause I didn’t realise the volume and severity of it. These cracks are much more than settlement hairline cracks as suggested by Mark. On final inspection, Mark also went out of way to lie and accuse me of not knowing what I’m talking about when I identified that the ducted air conditioning unit was not producing any air from the vents. You could hear that the air conditioning unit was having issues as soon as you had it on highest setting. I brought this up as it was not in good working order as required by the sales contract and I was told I could not get a second opinion / air con technician to attend to verify fault. Non compliant roof work was found also on the building report and for all I know the air con ducts may of been damaged by trades. But I’m sure that they air con was working on the initial inspection day and all of sudden having issues on final inspection. So now what’s supposed to a proud and happy first home purchase, I am completely gutted about having to rectify the upfront structural issues required and having to fix a ducted air conditioning unit that was required to be in good working order as per the sales contract.
