From disappointment to success

I was selling my property in North Bondi and engaged another agent. Over a period of 8 months (to be fair 3 of those months there was an uncooperative tenants) there was nothing but low ball offers. I bit the bullet, which I should have done earlier, and sought a fresh perspective engage Richard and Nick from Raine and Horne Double Bay. Richard clearly know the market in teh area and presented the relevant statistics for the area and outcomes he had achieved. On the first inspection of the property, Richard was quick to identify areas of uplift to sell the property such as new styling and significant garden work to elevate the property. You cant make money with out spending money. There was consistent communication and weekly debriefing about the property, who attended and views on weekly market dynamics. After 8 days on the market (from initial advertising), a buyer was found which I was satisfied with price being offered rather than uncertainty of an auction given market conditions. From 8 months and nothing with the previous agent to 8 days and sale! Richard provided his views about the offers coming in and unlike the previous agent, I did not feel pressured to accept a price I was not comfortable with. Overall a very positive experience with Richard and Nick.
