Approximately 3 years ago my partner, myself and three Daughters became homeless after our owned home of 15 years in Wellington was pretty much destroyed by a storm and became unliveable. We desperately needed a place to rent and we went to Raine and Horne Dubbo. Even though we both worked fulltime in government employment, Because we had no previous rental history the lady behind the counter looked down her nose at us and said no one will give you a chance let alone us. We walked out of there deflated, vowing never to go back. Flash forward to now. My point to this is that during the last six months we have been looking for a house to buy to call home. Firstly we came across Stuart Rae early on in our endeavour. Stuart was open, professional, knowledgeable, approachable and brutally honest. His market prowess was also evident. Unfortunately at that stage 49 Spears drive was not meant to be. Move forward another 6 months our circumstances changing, we put in an offer at a second viewing. Thanks to Stuart it was accepted. Stuart went out of his way to help us gain this home, honestly I think he was more excited than us. Raine and Horne should be grateful they are very fortunate have him under their banner. He changed our minds about our first impressions. I would highly recommend Stuart's services. On a side note we also had interactions with Brently Goodwin that were also excellent.

Communication was the most important aspect between all parties involved with property purchase. Tie that to a sound knowledge of the property, the demands of both parties, external factors (like bank processes!) and personal interactions when face to face chats were not possible, Stuart kept us all on track & provided the best outcome all round. I felt that client satisfaction rated above the need to make a sale. ‘Down to earth’ communication with a sincere ability to listen & provide feedback relevant to purchasing processes. After all, we’re not all high end investors but often average working class people looking to secure ‘a home’. These aspects are so highly valued in our current climate of housing demands especially for younger families trying to get into their first home. With that said, Stuart you have helped set up a young family in their first home. The relief for them (& their extended family) is overwhelming so again, my most sincere thanks to you. As a btw (by the way), my family have dealt with several other agents in Dubbo. Some of whom could use a course in communication styles &/or empathy in the rental world. Perhaps they could take a leaf out of your book!
