Moved into our rental that had not been cleaned or reasonably presented. Outstanding repair works left incomplete that’s were supposed to to be done pre move in. Prepaid rent weeks in advance just to be getting notifications that we are outstanding in rent even after touching base via email to double check the payments have been received. Just a few little things over a Christmas period that I feel is unnecessary to be dealing with.

Securing a rental property in Mackay is no easy task, with high demand, rising rents and very limited availability. From the outset, the Raine & Horne team provided practical guidance on strengthening my applications, and they did so willingly and without hesitation. When a suitable property became available, I was kept informed at each stage of the process. Communication was timely, transparent and respectful and the staff showed genuine consideration for the challenges of my work schedule. Once my application was approved, everything moved smoothly and efficiently — the paperwork, handover of keys and follow-up were all handled with professionalism and care. Since moving in, I’ve continued to be impressed. My first routine inspection was scheduled with plenty of advance notice, allowing me to prepare properly and the tone of all communication has been courteous and reassuring. While the true test of a property manager is often at the end of a tenancy, my experience so far has been very positive. The team has been approachable, responsive and fair and I feel confident that I’m being treated with respect as a tenant. I’m happy to recommend Raine & Horne Mackay based on the service I’ve received to date.
