Ben is very personable and professional and I am very happy to have had him manage my purchase. However, I let Ben know that this was my first purchase and that I needed step by step instructions on the process. Several times I had to email or text Ben to find out what to do next or what to do with the money and so on. Then before settlement I found out he was on leave and had asked me for a review. His job was finished but I didn't know it. My recommendation is that the agency writes a detailed list of the steps in buying a house. This list should include who does what (agent or solicitor) and when, where to put the deposit and what to do with the balance; where and when to get the key and other things that you might think that people know. I think you have all been in the business so long that you think that novices know what to do, and we don't. I'm sure that such a list would be very helpful for all buyers.

Ben was really easy to deal with, there were a few hold ups with loans/etc, which dragged out the final settlement date, but Ben was great in putting the sellers at ease, and there was no pressure from Ben in pushing us too hurry up with the settlement as he knew it was out of our control which made the whole process a lot smoother.
