When you think about buying or selling like most people you expect stress an worry to come with it. My agent Gus Anile changed this expectation completely. His experience an knowledge as well as his continuous updates and keeping me updated an involved with the process made me confident he would do everything in his power to get close to our reserve. When signing with Gus he mentioned his prices may not be the cheapest on offer but like most things "You get what you pay for" Gus not only sold all 3 units but $50,000 above my reserve thanks to his experience with negotiating and striving to get that bit more for his client. I would personally like to thank Gus Anile from hockingstuart Altona/Williamstown for an outstanding job and record result. When interviewing the so called local experts Gus Anile stood way out in front and knew what he was talking about. His local knowledge and recent results were one of the reasons we spoke to Gus in the first place. The other agents said we wouldn’t achieve more than $900,000, how wrong were they when Gus presented a contract of $1,050,000. It wasn’t just the record result that impressed, Gus’ communication and his superior negotiating skills was second to none. Gus also provided excellent buyer feedback so when we were at $975,000 and at a price we would of accepted he went back and negotiated a lot more. My wife and I selected Gus Anile from Hocking Stuart Altona to sell our home after chatting with a few local agents. Recently I used Gus to sell my vacant block of land in Altona Meadows and was delighted with the level of service I got from Hocking Stuart Altona and in particular Gus. Gus was excellent at following up with me whether it was to see how I was progressing on certain actions I needed to take, actions that Gus needed to take or discussions he was having with potential customers. Our property was on a major road and a challenge to sell. However the team at hocking Stuart worked hard and stayed positive through the process. I was impressed with the high level of communication even on days when there was no good news I would still get a call and update. Whilst we didn't get close to the expected price the team worked hard and went above and beyond with mid week openings, maintenance and finishing touches. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to family and friends.
